AI commercial generator: make a TV or online commercial in minutes

A commercial used to mean a crew, a set, a casting call and a post house. An AI commercial generator turns that into a written brief: describe the spot, pick the length, and get back a finished film with voiceover, sound effects and music — animated, so there is nothing to shoot.

What you can make

  • TV spots. The classic 15, 30 and 60-second commercial for local or national television, streaming services and connected TV.
  • Online video ads. Pre-roll for YouTube, in-feed ads for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and vertical versions of the same spot.
  • Product launches and promos. A short film that explains what is new, for a website, an email or a trade show screen.
  • Brand films. Longer pieces of a few minutes that tell the story of a company or a campaign.

Every spot is animated rather than filmed. That is a real choice, not a compromise: a cartoon commercial can show the invisible, compress time, and use a mascot that becomes a lasting brand asset. It is also the reason animated ads stand out on a screen full of live action.

How to make a commercial with AI

  1. Write the brief in one sentence. What should the viewer remember and do? "Fresh bread delivered before 7 a.m. — order tonight." If it does not fit in a sentence, the spot will not land either.
  2. Choose the length. 15 seconds for one message, 30 for problem, product and call to action, 60 for a small story. Longer brand films can run several minutes.
  3. Describe the spot as scenes. Write what happens, in order, with the style at the top. Put the voiceover and any lines in quotation marks so they are spoken.
  4. Pick the shape. 16:9 for television and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok. Generate each shape separately rather than cropping one.
  5. Generate, then make variants. Change the opening, the line or the style and generate again. Three openings for the same spot cost a few minutes, and the difference between them is usually bigger than anything you would fix in an edit.
  6. Add the end card in an editor. Logo, phone number, web address and legal lines belong in text you add yourself, so they are sharp and spelled exactly right.

A 30-second spot, written as a prompt

Warm 2D cartoon, bold outlines, soft morning palette. A sleepy baker's van drives through a quiet town at dawn, its headlights blinking like eyes. It stops at three houses; at each one a loaf of bread hops out of the back and onto the doorstep, and a window lights up. Narrator, friendly and calm: "Fresh bread, on your doorstep before seven." The van yawns, honks once and drives into the sunrise. Gentle acoustic music, the sound of birds and a soft door knock at each stop.

That prompt has a style, a sequence of actions, a setting with light, a spoken line and a soundscape. Leave the bakery's name and phone number out of the picture — they go on the end card.

Getting an AI commercial ready for TV

Television has technical rules that social media does not, and it is worth knowing them before you book airtime.

  • Resolution. Export at 1080p. Broadcasters work in HD, and the 1080p option is available on paid plans.
  • Frame rate and loudness. Stations usually want their region's frame rate (29.97 in North America, 25 in most of Europe) and audio normalised to their loudness standard (around −24 LKFS in the US, −23 LUFS in Europe). An editor or post house can convert a finished MP4 to that spec quickly.
  • Clearance. Many broadcasters review ads before they air. Claims must be true, prices and offers clear, and anything regulated — food, health, finance — may need extra wording.
  • Disclosure. Some platforms and regions expect AI-generated content to be labelled. Animated spots rarely mislead anyone, but check the current rules where you are buying airtime.

What it does well, and what it does not

An AI commercial generator is excellent at fast, characterful animated spots, at testing several versions of an idea, and at giving small businesses a television-quality ad without a production budget. It is not a replacement for a live-action shoot when the ad needs real people, a real product on a real table, or frame-accurate timing against a recorded jingle. Text inside the picture is also unreliable in every current model, which is why logos and phone numbers go on an end card.

Frequently asked questions

Can I really use an AI-generated commercial on TV?
Yes. The videos you generate are yours to use commercially, including on broadcast television. Export at 1080p, then have an editor or post house match the station's frame rate and loudness spec, and leave time for the broadcaster's ad clearance.
How long can the commercial be?
Any length from a few seconds to 5 minutes, or up to 20 minutes on the Pro plan. Most commercials are 15, 30 or 60 seconds; the longer lengths suit brand films and product videos.
Does the commercial come with a voiceover and music?
Yes. Voiceover, dialogue, sound effects and music are generated with the picture and in sync with it. Put the voiceover in quotation marks in your prompt so it is spoken clearly.
Can I put my logo and phone number in the ad?
Add them as an end card in any video editor. Text rendered inside the animation is unreliable in every current video model, while text you add yourself is always sharp and correct. You can also end the spot exactly on your logo artwork using the first-and-last-frame mode.
How much does an AI commercial cost?
A 30-second spot uses a fraction of a monthly plan's credits, and you see the exact cost before generating. Failed generations are never charged, and nothing carries a watermark.
