Terms of service

By using Cartoon Video Creator you agree to these terms. We have tried to keep them readable; where something matters to you, it is stated plainly rather than buried.

Your account

You need an account to generate videos, created by signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.

Who owns what you make

You own the videos you generate, including those made with free credits. You may use them commercially — in advertising, on social media, in products and for clients — without paying us anything further and without attribution.

We claim no ownership of your prompts, your uploaded references or your outputs. We will not use your creations in our own marketing without asking you first.

Be aware that the legal status of copyright in AI-generated material varies by country and is still developing. We grant you every right we have; we cannot guarantee how a particular jurisdiction will treat the output.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to create:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises children.
• Content depicting real people without their consent, particularly in misleading or defamatory contexts.
• Material that harasses, threatens or incites violence against people or groups.
• Deceptive content presented as a genuine record of real events.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Anything unlawful where you or your audience are located.

You are responsible for the rights to any image or video you upload as a reference. Generations are subject to the content filters of our upstream provider, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited material.

Credits and billing

One credit is one generated video; longer and higher-resolution clips consume more of your allowance. Free credits are granted on sign-up and carry the same rights as paid ones.

Failed generations are not charged — if a render fails or is cancelled the credit returns to your balance automatically. Monthly subscription credits reset each billing period; one-off credit packs do not expire. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and end at the close of the current period. We do not offer refunds for credits already spent on successfully generated videos.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Generation depends on an upstream provider, and outages there will affect us. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes to paid plans.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost content.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would compromise an investigation or a legal obligation.
